100 LinkedIn Hooks

FREE RESOURCE
100 outlier LinkedIn hooks, each with its engagement data, creator, a reusable template and a worked example. A free swipe file from Matt Navarra.
Hook swipe files have one obvious problem. People grab the hook, shove it into a post, which then doesn't perform, and then they wonder why it bombed.
So I built this one to give you more than just a list. It's 100 hooks hand-picked from real LinkedIn posts by 30 creators who consistently get read, across 14 hook types. For every hook, you can see:
→ The original hook, word for word
→ Who created it
→ What type of hook it is
→ How many engagements it generated
→ A reusable template you can adapt
→ A worked example showing how to use that template
→ The actual LinkedIn post it came from
That last part is crucial. Don't just copy the hook. Study the post too. Look at how the creator followed through on the promise, then use the template to build your own version.
How to use it:
01 · Filter by hook type
Pull the angle that fits what you're writing. A separate tab explains what each type does.
02 · Read the hook, then the template
The template is the same hook with the specifics stripped out, so you can see the pattern underneath.
03 · Fill in the brackets
Swap every bracketed prompt for your own specifics. The worked example shows what that looks like.
04 · Track what works
The Notes column is yours. Log what you tried, what you changed and what it did.
